We realize that the cost of heating is rough on budgets. Many people are faced with difficult financial choices. In order to get the best possible price, order coal by the full truckload. My current coal truck comfortably holds 8 tons. I consider any order over 6 tons to be a full load. The best possible scenario for pricing is an eight ton load that either gets dumped on a tarp or is a gravity chute through a basement window. The best pricing on coal is typically in May and June. I am willing to work with anybody to help them get the best possible value for their heating dollar.

Outside Matters will bring your wood to your residence in Wayne County, Pike County, Susquehanna, Lackawanna counties and surrounding areas. I know people want dry seasoned ready-to-burn wood. The only way to have wood of that quality available is to hold it in inventory after it has been cut and split. To facilitate handling, I am stacking the wood on recycled pallets. The wood is bundled in 1/3-cord quantities. I have a couple of hundred pallets available. You are free to come and inspect the wood. If you are not pleased with the quality, you may return the unburned portion and receive a full refund.
Typical delivery time for firewood is 1 - 7 days on orders for delivered cords of premium firewood to residential customers in the Northeastern Pennylvania area.

We have added an inventory of ceramic glass for stoves and fireplaces. Pre-cut stove glass is expesive to inventory because there are so many different sizes and manufacturers. To better serve you, I have sheets of glass available so we can custom cut pieces, as we need them. I do keep a few of the most common sizes pre-cut so you can walk in and simply take them with you. I will try to cut pieces on a "same-day" basis whenever possible.

Stove glass breakage usually occurs as a result of impact or the retaining hardware was too tight or during eventual thermal breakdown which can take several year or even decades. When broken it will usually just crack like normal glass. Pyroceram III is slightly amber in color and is made of 3/16 thick glass and is the best glass product to replace for your wood stove. The glass product that provides a view of the flame in the burning chamber is not ordinary glass product and ue to the extreme heat and pressure created inside the chamber, the glass needed has to withstand high heat conditions.
